Power 93.3 KUBE 104.9 The Brew KKBW Alt 102.9 Now KYNW 106.1 Kiss-FM iHeartMedia SeattleiHeartMedia CHR “Power 93.3” KPWK and Hot AC “106.1 Kiss-FM” KBKS Seattle has appointed Justin Riley as their new Program Director.

Riley transfers from iHeart’s Portland cluster where he programmed CHR “Z100” KKRZ and Rhythmic Hot AC “Jam’n 107.5” KXJM. He also programmed for the company in Albuquerque and El Paso.

Riley fills the opening created by Rich Davis’ return to Minneapolis as Director of Contemporary Hit Music Stations for the Western Great Lakes Region in March soon after leading the multi-station format shuffle that led to the debut of KPWK in January.

iHeartMedia Seattle announced today that Justin Riley has been named Program Director for Power 93.3, Seattle’s New No. 1 for Hit Music, and 106.1 KISS-FM, Seattle’s radio station playing More Music, More Variety.

iHeartMedia has massive consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. Riley will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee on-air content, digital footprints and music programming for both brands and their local events.

“I am beyond thrilled that iHeartMedia has asked me to take on the responsibility of leading these two exciting new brands in Seattle,” said Riley.  “As a northwest native, it has always been a dream of mine to program in the Emerald City. And as a lifelong Seahawks fan, I’m excited to add my talents to that of the insane 12th Man! Many thanks to Andrew Jeffries, Robert Dove, Kent Haehl and Rich Moore for this incredible opportunity.”

Riley previously worked as the Program Director for Z100 and JAM’N 107.5 in Portland, Ore. He has also served as the Program Director for KKOB-FM and KMGA-FM in Albuquerque, N.M. and at KSII-FM in El Paso, TX as well as the Assistant Program Director and Music Director at KQMB-FM in Salt Lake City, UT.

“With our brand realignment in Seattle earlier this year, isolating the right programmer to lead Power 93.3 and 106.1 KISS-FM into this bright new future is critical – Justin Riley was an obvious choice to move these two brands forward here in Seattle and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the team,” said Rich Moore, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Seattle. “His knowledge, experience, leadership and connections for these formats will have a big impact.”

iHeartMedia is a leading media outlet in the Seattle market. Its radio brands and content are available across multiple platforms, including its broadcast stations; online via its branded digital sites; mobile; and social, with nationwide listening through iHeartRadio, the all-in-one streaming music and live radio service.
