The deal announced in February where Colonial Media & Entertainment announced the acquisitions of Sports “ESPN 100.1” 1230 WFAY Fayetteville, Rock/Sports “92.5 FBX” 1450 WFBX Spring Lake NC, Gospel “Rejoice 1200” WMIR Atlantic Beach/Myrtle Beach SC and four translators from subsidiaries of Astrakel International has been filed with the FCC. Colonial will be paying $777,641 for the assets. The translators included in the deal are 102.9 W275AH Maxson NC (with CP to move to Myrtle Beach rebroadcasting WMIR), 97.9 W250AQ Thomson GA (already moved to 92.5 in Spring Lake NC rebroadcasting WFBX), 100.1 W261CX Fayetteville NC (rebroadcasting WFAY), and 95.5 W238CJ Atlantic Beach SC.
SACE Broadcasting Corporation acquires 1480 KHQN Spanish Fork/Provo UT from the estate of Robyn Howell for $50,000. The buyers sold the station to the seller in 2006 for $315,000.
Punjabi American Media is acquiring Spanish Christian 1300 KWRU Fresno CA from Multicultural Radio Broadcasting for $750,000. The buyers own two AMs in the Sacramento market.
Martha Whitman is transferring 1510 KOAZ Isleta NM and 103.7 K279BP Albuquerque to Vanguard Media for no consideration. Vanguard is owned by Whitman’s husband Don Davis.
Carol Wheeler sells Classic Rock 92.9 KKID Salem MO to her son Steven and his wife Jill Wheeler for $350,000 worth of payments previously made to Wheeler and her deceased husband.
