Nassau Broadcasting creditor Goldman Sachs has sold Classical 99.5 WCRB Boston to crosstown WGBH for $14 Million. The public broadcaster will convert the station to non-commercial status and eliminate some of the Classical overlap between the two stations. Nassau had acquired the 99.5 frequency and WCRB intellectual property from Greater Media in 2006 as part of a swap that moved WCRB from 102.5.
More details about the WCRB sale can be found at Northeast Radio Watch.
