Sandhill Radio Group’s CHR “Sunny 94.3” KSNA Rexburg/Idaho Falls, ID has shifted to 100.7 and relaunched as Adult CHR “100.7 My-FM“.
The move was necessitated by a pair of station upgrades locally as part of a larger frequency shuffle throughout the Intermountain West. The license of 99.1 KUPI was shifted to 100.7, while 94.3 upgraded from a 43kw Class C2 to a 100kw C1 on 99.1. To maintain consistency with programming, the Country format of KUPI remained on its familiar frequency.
I’m excited for the change. It has the same feel as My 99.5 down in the Salt Lake area. So far there seems to be more variety, which I felt was a real weak spot with 94.3. They played a lot of new music, but not much else. It was really repetitive and the makeover was long overdue. I also enjoy hearing the artist and song titles after every song. So far Rexburg seems like there is a weak signal though.
