River City Broadcasting has acquired Gospel “Joy 92.5” WFJO Jacksonville for $1.95 Million and has flipped it to a simulcast of Sports “1010 XL” WJXL.
The River City principles Anthony Marinatos and Ken Purcell own WJXL under the name Seven Bridges Radio. The purchase of WFJO from Scott Savage, the court appointed receiver of the former Tama Broadcasting includes a Time Brokerage Agreement until the sale closes.
The former Gospel programming of WFJO will return to Jacksonville on Monday, April 2 on Covenant Broadcasting’s “Pure Radio” 1320 WJNJ/103.7 W279AG.
