Sirius Channel Changes New Lineup Programming Changes

On Wednesday, November 12 Sirius XM Radio will launch a new lineup that includes the merger of a number of duplicated music formats on both platforms. The following lists the changes listeners will expect to hear tomorrow.

Moved Channels
9 – The Pulse (Moves to 12)
12 – The Bridge (Moves to 33 – On Hiatus Until January 2009)
12 – Led Zeppellin Radio (Moves to 33)
29 – AC/DC Radio (Moves to 19)

Merged/Renamed Channels
The channels are merging with their XM counterpart.

2 – Starlite becomes The Blend
5 – Sirius Gold becomes 50’s on 5
6 – 60’s Vibrations becomes 60’s on 6
7 – Totally 70’s becomes 70’s on 7
8 – Big 80’s becomes 80’s on 8
16 – The Vault becomes Deep Tracks
19 – Buzzsaw becomes The Boneyard (On Hiatus Until January 2009)
26 – Left of Center becomes Sirius XM U
27 – Hard Attack becomes Liquid Metal
36 – The Beat becomes BPM
50 – Hot Jamz becomes The Heat
60 – New Country becomes The Highway
65 – Bluegrass becomes Bluegrass Junction
66 – Spirit becomes The Message
71 – Jazz Cafe becomes Watercolors
72 – Pure Jazz becomes Real Jazz
74 – Sirius Blues becomes BB King’s Bluesville
77 – Broadway’s Best becomes On Broadway
83 – Rumbon becomes Caliente
84 – Reggae Rhythms becomes The Joint

Added Channels
4 – 40’s on 4
9 – 90’s on 9
29 – The Loft
39 – Pop2K
64 – Willie’s Place
67 – Enlighten
76 – Escape
81 – Holly (Christmas Music until January 1)
81 – Cinemagic (Debuts on January 1)

Removed Channels
4 – Movin’ Easy
33 – Sirius Disorder
37 – The Strobe
39 – Boombox
82 – Universo Latino
107 – E! Entertainment Radio

Any remaining channels will be Sirius exclusive or will keep their existing name.
