Salem Communications will begin operating 94.5 WMUU on Monday, December 3.
The company announced the acquisition of the station and plans to flip the station to a Conservative Talk format from Bob Jones University on August 24. Taking the format name to heart, the station will be branded as “Conservative Talk 94.5“.
Mike Gallagher, who will be heard from 9am-12pm on 94.5 has already been pulled from his spot on Entercom’s crosstown “Newsradio WORD” and replaced by Laura Ingraham. The rest of the 94.5 lineup will include the usual Salem fixtures of Bill Bennett in mornings, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, and Hugh Hewitt.
