Here’s a combo you don’t see every day.
Syndicated advice host Dave Ramsey will be changing stations in Nashville on January 1 as he leaves Cumulus News/Talk 99.7 WWTN for Cromwell Sports “102.5 The Game” WPRT. WWTN had been Ramsey’s flagship station for the past twenty years, but were unable to come to terms on a contract renewal.
The addition of Ramsey from 1-4pm will trigger a shuffle of the 102.5 lineup that currently features the first two hours of ESPN Radio’s Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Rusillo from 12-2pm, Steve Gorman from 2-3pm, and the first hour of “Sportsnight” with George Plaster, Willy Daunic, and Darren McFarland at 3.
WPRT will also add additional coverage in Murfreesboro as the station will begin simulcasting on Way Media’s 97.5 W248BM which is in the process of upgrading to 250 watts to cover Murfreesboro proper. WPRT’s programming will be fed via an HD subchannel of sister 102.9 WBUZ.
