“Trapper Jack” Elliot and Jim “Infoman” McIntyre are out of mornings at CBS AC “New 102” WDOK Cleveland as their contracts were not renewed.
Elliot had been with WDOK for the past 17 years. The station had featured Elliot’s farewell audio on its website but quickly purged it along with all mentions of the pair within a half hour of his show ending this morning.
Jen Toohey remains in the WDOK morning slot. WDOK relaunched as “New 102” in January 2012.
The audio of Trapper’s goodbye is still up at http://new102.cbslocal.com/?podcast_url=http%3A%2F%2Fcbswdok.files.wordpress.com%2F2012%2F12%2Ftrapper.mp3&podcast_name=TRAPPER&podcast_artist=TRAPPER+AND+TOOHEY&station_id&audio_link=true&config_file=config.xml&dcid=CBS.MUSIC.WDOKFM — sorry I can’t shorten the link…
Terrible move by WDOK, but at least he had the chance to say goodbye.
