Hubbard Radio has named Marty Bender as Program Director of AC “Rewind 100.3” WILV Chicago.
Bender, who is best known for the twenty plus years overseeing Clear Channel’s “Q95” 94.7 WFBQ Indianapolis and the syndicated Bob & Tom Show, most recently oversaw the launch of AAA “87.7 Cleveland’s Sound” WLFM-LP Cleveland. He replaces Barry James who retired last month.

WILV Chicago, better known as Chicago’s REWIND, 100.3, has named veteran programmer Marty Bender Program Director. Bender replaces Barry James, who retired from radio last month after 20 years with the Chicago properties.
In making the announcement, Hubbard Radio’s Senior Vice President of Programming Greg Solk comments “We believe with Marty, we have found a Programmer with the perfect balance of programming savvy, branding vision and mad scientist. We are looking forward to welcoming Marty into our Hubbard fraternity.”
Bender is most famously credited with over two decades of stellar work in Indianapolis with rock powerhouse WFBQ and the ‘Bob and Tom’ syndicated morning show. Bender’s resume also includes the impressive call letters of WWWM Cleveland, WSKS Cincinnati, WRIF Detroit and VP of Operations for Premiere Radio Networks.
