Rick Brancandora’s 1020 WIBG Ocean City-Somers Point, NJ has flipped to Spanish Hits “En Vivo Radio“.
The station had dropped its Talk format in May and was stunting with 80s music until the flip. The programming is coming from National Latino Broadcasting’s “En Vivo” network which is also heard on SiriusXM Channel 147. The station is the only Spanish language station serving the Atlantic City market.
The network describes the format as:
En Vivo is an open format mix of music featuring a variety of genres. Growing up in the U.S., the majority of Latinos have been exposed to all different types of music including Spanish pop, tropical, regional Mexican, top 40 English and Latin alternative. En Vivo brings the best of both worlds playing the perfect mix of all genres which is why it truly caters to the bicultural Latino.
WIBG continues to air some of its existing religious and brokered Talk programming on weekends. Sister Oldies 94.3 WIBG-FM Avalon is unaffected by the change.
