A pair of sales will see three Pittsburgh area stations changing hands.
Educational Media Foundation, which has been on a buying spree of late, will sell two of its translators in the Pittsburgh market to Broadcast Communications, Inc for $310,000.
The two translators are already used to rebroadcast BCI’s AM stations in the market. 94.1 W231BM Clarion, PA operates with 84 watts and rebroadcasts Variety 620 WKHB Irwin. 97.5 W248AR Monroeville operates with 118 watts and rebroadcasts Talk/Oldies 770 WKFB Jeannette.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that 910 WAVL has been sold by Evangel Heights Assembly of God to Family-Life Media-Com Inc. Family Life, which owns 1380 WTYM Kittanning PA, has already flipped WAVL from Conservative Talk “Liberty 910” to a mix of Christian Preaching and Music.
