With the sale of “IQ 106.9” WWIQ Philadelphia closing shortly, CBS Conservative Talk 1210 WPHT will make room in what had been a mostly local lineup for Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity beginning on Monday, October 28.
Limbaugh will air live in his 12-3pm daypart, while Hannity will air tape delayed from 9pm to 12am. To make room on the lineup for the new additions, the existing programming on the station will be truncated. Morning host Chris Stigall will lose the 9am hour and air 530-9am. Dom Giordano will slide from 10am-2pm to 9am-12pm. Afternoon host Dick Morris will lose the 2pm hour, and Rich Zeoli drops the 10pm hour from his now 6-9pm show. The station had been featuring a loop of guest hosts in the 10pm-1am slot, which will no longer be necessary with the addition of Hannity.
WWIQ launched in 2012 by taking Limbaugh away from WPHT and bringing Glenn Beck and Hannity back to the Philadelphia market after being dropped from WPHT in late 2010. Its change to Christian AC will leave wPHT and Salem’s 990 WNTP as the only Talk stations in the market.
