Original Report 10/25: When John Pirkle’s Oak Ridge FM reassumes programming control of 94.3 WNFZ Powell/Knoxville on Friday, November 1 at least some Talk content will be in tow.
When Pirkle’s group completed the sale of then Talk 100.3 WNOX to Journal Broadcasting in May, the company moved the bulk of its lineup to 850 WKVL, which it began leasing from Blount Broadcasting.
Russell Smith, who hosts the afternoon sports show “The Drive” on WKVL is promoting that his show will be heard exclusively on 94.3.
Well here we are! One week until moving day. The Drive will be heard exclusively on 94.3 FM starting one week from today Fri. November 1st!
