Update 3/4: WXYY made the move to 100.1 this morning as “Y100” replacing Gospel “Joy 100“.
The station is promoting music from the “90s, 2K, and Today”. The syndicated Bert Show remains in mornings, Patty Steele in middays, and new PD Tony Bristol in afternoons.

Original Report 2/28: As L&L Broadcasting prepares to close on its purchase of Gospel “Joy 100.1” WSSJ Rincon/Savannah, GA, a call sign swap indicates further moves will soon follow.
On 2/27, the WXYY call letters moved from L&L Hot AC “Y107.9” Port Royal, SC to 100.1, while 107.9 became WRWN. A move of the WXYY format to 100.1 while give the station a better signal in the Savannah market once it builds out its CP to move to a new tower with 75kW at 142 meters, which was granted today following FAA requirements to adjust from the proposed 100kW.
At this point we have yet to see any domain registrations pertaining to changes at either station. WXYY recently named Tony Bristol, the longtime PD of CHR “92 Pro-FM” WPRO-FM Providence as its new Program Director.
L&L received FCC approval earlier this month for an extension of the time to close on the purchase of WSSJ from bankruptcy receiver Scott Savage.
Savannah is about to get really interesting. 😉

hopefully it’s somewhat of a rewind to hits from his last gig, glad to unofficially confirm Jojo will be back on the radio. now i don’t feel so bad no longer owning a sirius receiver.
