Q97.1 Q97 KSEQ Visalia Fresno Buckley Broadcasting Lotus CommunicationsBuckley Broadcasting continues to sell off its assets as it agrees to divest Rhythmic CHR “Q97.1” KSEQ Visalia/Fresno to Lotus Communications.

KSEQ will become Lotus’ fifth station in the Fresno market joining Regional Mexican “La Buena 101.9” KLBN, Active Rock “105.1 The Blaze” KKBZ, Spanish AC “Exitos 107.1” KHIT-FM, and Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes 1600” KGST.

Buckley CEO Joe Bilotta stated,

Our ability to compete in the highly consolidated Fresno market with a free-standing FM was a significant reason to entertain and eventually sell KSEQ to Lotus. With this acquisition, Lotus will be even more of an impact player in the Fresno market and they are very excited to have the Buckley station as part of their growing cluster and company.

The sale comes a week after Buckley announced the sale of its Hartford, CT stations to Connoisseur Media. Following the sale Buckley will still own four stations in Bakersfield, and two each in Monterey and Merced, CA.
