Update 8/7: WJAS flipped to Conservative Talk today assuming the programming heard on Clear Channel’s 104.7 WPGB including Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh.
#WJAS signs off at noon with "One more for the road" by Sinatra. I'm glad I was there for the end. I'll miss it. @chrisshovlin #sadtweet

Update 8/4: Frank Iorio Jr. has closed on his purchase of 1320 WJAS from Renda.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports the station will flip to Talk at some point in the future, but it is “a little bit yet” before doing so. Is the flip perhaps related to the possible move of Clear Channel’s 104.7 WPGB from Talk to Country?
Original Report 5/29: Renda Broadcasting has announced the sale of Adult Standards 1320 WJAS Pittsburgh to Frank Iorio Jr.’s Pittsburgh Radio Partners for $1 million.
This is the second Pittsburgh market AM Renda as divested in the past year following its donation of 1360 WMNY. The sale leaves AC “Wish 99.7” WSHH as Renda’s only station in the market. The company also holds stations in Fort Myers and Jacksonville, FL and Greensburg, Indiana, and Punxsutawney, PA.
Iorio’s Radio Partners owns 1 AM, 2 FM’s, a translator and a CP for an additional FM near Warren, PA and a standalone FM in the Altoona market.
