After airing a few hours of Christmas Music, the journey has come to an end for Cumulus AC “Journey 93.3” WWFF New Market/Huntsville, AL as it becomes the 21st “Nash Icon” branded Country station.
The move returns the frequency to the Country format is previously held from 2008 until 2011 as “The Wolf“. The move will place the station up against iHeartMedia’s market-leading Country 102.1 WDRM.
Cumulus announces that WWFF-FM launched today as 93.3 NASH Icon. The station previously operated under the brand Journey 93-3. NASH Icon is a new Country music and lifestyle brand featuring Country music’s most iconic artists, driven by Country music fans’ desire for more exposure to their all-time favorite artists from the last 25 years, and Country music from today’s biggest artists. NASH Icon stations provide advertisers the opportunity to engage with the passionate Country fan base across a multi-media platform that spans radio, television, digital, magazine and live events.
