Larry Elder Out At KABC

Larry Elder 790 KABC Los Angeles Cumulus ABC Larry Elder has exited Cumulus Conservative Talk 790 KABC Los Angeles.

As first reported last night by Tom Leykis after all references to Elder were wiped from the station’s website, Elder departs KABC after two tenures. He first joined the station for afternoons in 1994 where he remained until December 2008. From 2002 until 2007 his program was syndicated nationally via ABC Radio Networks. Elder then returned to the station in September 2010 in the 9am to 12pm slot before returning to afternoon drive the following year.

Elder has not commented on his departure from KABC outside of tweeting that he will be continuing his show today on his website.

Despite local programming for sixteen hours per day and being the new flagship for the NHL’s defending champion Los Angeles Kings, KABC has held nearly steady with a 0.7 share over the past few ratings periods.
