Public Radio Capital is selling 91.7 KXOT Tacoma/Seattle to Bible Broadcasting Network for $2.4 million.
PRC has been seeking an operator for KXOT for a few years now. From 2006 until July 2012 KXOT was operated by the University Of Washington as KUOW2, a secondary service of their 94.9 KUOW-FM Seattle. After a period off-the-air, KXOT has simulcast the audio of cable public affairs network TVW, a local equivalent of C-SPAN since the start of 2013.
