News Talk Radio 77 WABC (“Where New York Comes to Talk”) announces that Rita Cosby will host a new weekend talk show, “The Rita Cosby Show”. The show will debut on 77 WABC on Sunday, March 8, and will feature exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names making headlines in current events, politics and entertainment. Concurrent with the announcement, 77 WABC announced that Friday, February 27, marked the last day of Cosby’s weekday afternoon drive show, “The Ride Home with Rita Cosby”.
Craig Schwalb, Program Director, WABC Radio New York said: “Rita has been a phenomenal asset to afternoon drive on WABC over the last year. Rita has decided that her TV commitments and international speaking engagements require her to spend more time away from her daily show. But thankfully, she wants to continue to be a part of the WABC family. We are thrilled that Rita will continue to be a great asset to WABC as she hosts her new weekend talk show, ‘The Rita Cosby Show’.”
