CBS Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston has filled its long-vacant morning show opening. Nick Russo will move from weekends at KILT-FM and sister CHR “Hot 95.7” KKHH to the night spot vacated by Cowboy Dave.
The station has confirmed that George Lindsay will join the station from Alpha Media Hot AC “102.3 The Max” WXMA Louisville as reported below. He will be joined by former 98.7 KUPL Portland morning co-host Monica Lunsford and current KILT-FM night host Cowboy Dave for “The Morning Bull” starting Monday, March 16.
CBS RADIO’s 100.3 The Bull today announced a new morning show will debut on the station beginning on Monday, March 16. THE MORNING BULL with George, Mo and Cowboy Dave will be broadcast weekdays 5:00-10:00AM, CT on-air, online at www.1003thebull.com or by downloading the Radio.com app for mobile devices.
George Lindsey joins The Bull from WXMA in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was operations manager and morning host. Monica Lunsford was previously heard in morning drive on KUPL in Portland, Oregon, and ACM and CMA Award-winning stations. Cowboy Dave has been with The Bull since 2010 hosting the station’s night show.

Cowboy Dave takes his popular personality to morning after hosting nights since April 2014. The Houston native said, “I’m excited to introduce George and Mo to my hometown, and I hear they love tacos, so you know I’ll be taking ‘em to all my favorite places…hurry up y’all, I’m hungry!”
Nick Russo will take over nights on The Bull, hosting from 7:00PM-12:00Midnight, CT.
Original Report 3/3: George Lindsey, PD/Morning Host at Alpha Media Hot AC “102.3 The Max” WXMA Louisville is heading south to Houston to take the vacant morning slot at KILT-FM. Lindsey, who also served as Operations Manager for Alpha Media Louisville will exit his on-air home of the last sixteen years this coming Friday.
Lindsey will take the slot most recently held by Greg Thunder, who departed KILT-FM in November after four years with the station. Thunder’s co-host Corey Foley exited in April 2014.
Louisville Business First reports that Lindsey’s co-hosts Linda Lambert and Jesse Rasmussen will remain in mornings at WXMA, while middayer Sarah Jordan has been named Interim Program Director.
