The FCC has set its next auction of new commerical FM allocations for July 23.
131 vacant allocations will be put up for auction, 18 of which went unclaimed or defaulted upon in previous auctions. The rules for the auction can be seen here.
Among the notable allocations up for auction (with starting bid) are:
- 101.9 Heber Springs, AR – Class C3 – $45,000
- 92.1 Cottonwood/Redding, CA – Class A – $60,000
- 92.7 Shasta Lake/Redding, CA – Class A – $60,000
- 100.9 Maysville/Gainesville, GA – Class A – $75,000
- 98.3 Columbia, MO – Class C2 – $75,000
- 100.9 Westfield, NY/Erie, PA – Class A – $25,000
- 97.9 Englewood, TN – Class A – $60,000
- 101.9 Hawley, TX – Class A – $60,000
- 107.9 Longview, TX – Class C2 – $75,000
- 99.1 Moody/Waco, TX – Class A – $60,000
- 104.3 Touquerville/St. George, UT – Class C – $75,000
