Youngers Colorado Broadcasting is swapping Silent 99.3 KPCR Fowler/Pueblo, CO to Way Media for the CP for 93.9 K230BO Westcreek, CO. Youngers will then sell K230BO to Mountain Community Translators for $25,000.
Lamb of God Communications sells Catholic 91.7 WLGO Ashtabula, OH to the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago for $160,000.
Mountain View Broadcast LLC is converting its Time Brokerage Agreement of “China Radio International” 1060 KDYL South Salt Lake, UT to a purchase as it pays Holiday Broadcasting Company $712,000. The principal owners of the buyer also own Chinese oriented stations in Atlanta and Portland and earlier this month agreed to purchase 93.5 KADD Logandale/Las Vegas.
Carline Clerge is acquiring the 58% of “Haitian News Radio” 1600 WHTY Riviera Beach/West Palm Beach that she does not own. Clerge will pay Robert Travis $370,000 for his 51% share and David Urbach $50,000 for his 7% stake. Clerge will then transfer the station to her Caribbean Media Group, Inc.
Susan Ernst and husband James Ernst’s Dead-Short Broadcasting are acquiring Country “1340 The Fort” KSID, AC “98.7 The Blast” KSID-FM, and 95.3 K239BE Sydney, NE for $620,000 from KSID Radio Inc. KSID Radio is controlled by the estate of Mrs. Ernst’s late mother Mary Elizabeth Young. The proceeds of the sale will be split between Susan Ernst and her siblings Elizabeth Kumm, David Young, and Barbara Gutshall.
In last week’s report it was mentioned that Redrock Broadcasting was acquiring 102.3 KCDC La Verkin/St. George, UT from Cochise Broadcasting. The deal has now been filed with the FCC showing that Redrock will be paying $375,000 for the currently silent station.
Attleboro Access Cable Systems is donated 1320 WRNP Attleboro, MA by ADD Radio. The new owner will file to operate WRNP as a non-commercial station.
Sangre de Cristo Broadcasting principals Matias Martinez, Jr. and Connie Martinez are gifting Variety Hits “96.7 Sam-FM” KMDZ, Regional Mexican 540 KNMX, and a CP for a new station at 107.1 all in Las Vegas, NM to their son Matias C. Martinez, who in turn is giving 49% of the stations to his wife Martha Martinez.
