Station Moves

Big 95.5 WEBG Chicago FCC Radio Station Application CP Modification Call Letter ChangeTwo of iHeartMedia’s Chicago FM stations are swapping their primary and auxiliary antennas on the John Hancock Tower. Country “Big 95.5” WEBG Chicago will shift from 8.3kW at 358 meters to 5.3kW at 425 meters, while Urban AC “V103” 102.7 WVAZ Oak Park will move from 6kW at 357 meters to 3.8kW at 425 meters. Neither station will see any changes in their predicted coverage areas.

Renard Communications Classic Hits “The Dinosaur” 103.9 WNDR-FM Mexico/Syracuse, NY held a CP to increase from a Class A to Class C3 that expired last year due to the tower site no longer being available. Now after procuring a new location, WNDR-FM has once again filed to make its upgrade and operate with 18.7kW at 114 meters (Coverage Map).

Seven Mountains Media has applied to relocate two of its newly acquired Pennsylvania stations to a new location. Country 92.5 WJUN Mexico and Hot AC “Merf 95.7” WMRF-FM Lewistown will both operate with 310 watts at 433 meters (WJUN Coverage Map) (WMRF-FM Coverage Map).

Kona Coast Radio’s Silent 93.7 KIIQ Limon, CO applies to upgrade from a Class A to C2 licensed to Deer Trail. KIIQ would operate with 25.5kW at 212 meters (Coverage Map). The move is contingent on the FCC removing Kona Coast’s 92.3 KDAB Hugo’s expired CP to move to 93.7.

New England Public Radio’s 98.9 WNNI Adams, MA applies to move to an adjacent tower with an increase in power and height to 1.45kW at 158.8 meters (Coverage Map).

Robert Rose’s pending acquisition of the CP for 94.1 KZOC Bourbon, MO seeks a new tower site where it will operate with 2.53kW at 109 meters (Coverage Map).

After preventing its CP to expire with temporary 100 watt at 20 meter facilities, Arkansas County Broadcasters’ 104.1 KBRI Clarendon, AR applies to operate as a C3 with 17.5kW at 119 meters (Coverage Map).

A week after its application to relocate to near Utica, NY via STA was dismissed, Northeast Gospel Broadcasting’s 88.1 WVVC-FM Dolgeville, NY applies to relocate to near Little Falls with 150 watts at 206 meters (Coverage Map).

After a Kickstarter campaign we highlighted on RadioInsight, Taos Adventures’ 93.5 KNCE Taos, NM has applied to triple power from 1 to 3kW, while relocating to a new tower .41km from its current location where it will operate from -192 meters above average terrain (Coverage Map).

Edgewater Broadcasting’s 89.5 K208FC Arabi, LA applies to relocate its tower to downtown New Orleans with 10 watts at 225 meters rebroadcasting Christian AC “Freedom Radio FM” 89.1 WLOG Marleysburg, PA (Coverage Map).

Curtis Media’s Eastern Airwaves 93.5 W228CM Greensboro, NC applies to move to 93.7 with 250 watts at 74 meters rebroadcasting Sports “Triad Sports” 1320 WCOG Greensboro (Coverage Map).

After its previous application to relocate to 105.3 was dismissed by request, Wilkins Radio’s 105.5 W288CL Moosic, PA applies to operate with 1 watt at 71 meters rebroadcasting 1550 WITK Pittston (Coverage Map).

Family Life Ministries seeks to increase 98.7 W254AJ Erie, PA to 250 watts at 247 meters rebroadcasting an HD subchannel of Connoisseur Media’s 103.7 WRTS Erie (Coverage Map).

In Olean, NY, Family Life seeks to increase 101.1 W266BN to 99 watts at 137 meters rebroadcasting 89.1 WCID Friendship (Coverage Map).

Educational Communications of Colorado Springs’ CP for 92.1 K221FY Alamosa, CO applies to relocate to 102.7 with no changes to its 250 watts at 46 meters facility rebroadcasting “Light Praise” 91.5 KTML South Fork (Coverage Map).

Krystal Broadcasting’s CP for 93.3 K227CN Breckenridge, CO seeks to move to 93.1 with 130 watts at 332 meters rebroadcasting “Krystal 93” 93.9 KYSL Frisco (Coverage Map).

Taos Communications’ 96.3 K242CQ Taos, NM applies to shift to 96.7 with 250 watts at 857 meters rebroadcasting 103.7 KLNN Questa (Coverage Map). Concurrently sister 97.9 K250AW Eagle Nest, NM will move to 97.5 in Taos with 18 watts at 632 meters rebroadcasting 101.9 KTAO Taos (Coverage Map).

Claro Communication’s 99.9 K260CC San Antonio, TX seeks to slide a few miles west with 92 watts vertical at 124 meters rebroadcasting 90.3 KYRQ Natalia (Coverage Map).

Great Lakes Radio’s 99.9 W260AG Ishpeming, MI applies to relocate its tower site to near Marquette with 99 watts at 52 meters rebroadcasting 103.3 WFXD Marquette (Coverage Map).

Bible Broadcasting’s Silent 105.9 W290AG Griffin, GA applies to shift to 96.9 with 55 watts at 67 meters due to displacement caused by the sign-on of 105.9 WFAL Milner (Coverage Map). W290AG will rebroadcast BBN’s 89.5 WYFK Columbus.
