Colorado Public Radio is swapping Indie Rock “Open Air” 1340 KVOQ Denver to Cedar Cove Broadcasting for Spanish Christian “Radio Nueva Vida” 88.3 KRKY-FM Fort Collins and the cancellation of a $100,000 promissory note due to Cedar Cover affiliate Mountain Community Translators by Colorado Public Radio.
Horizon Broadcasting Group is transferring impending Portland move-in 96.3 KWLZ-FM West Linn, OR to 3 Horizons LLC, a partnership between Horizon and 3 Cities Broadcasting. 3 Cities owns AC “Mixx 96.1” KXXO Olympia/Tacoma, WA, which is required to build a new facility before KWLZ-FM moves into the Portland market. Both stations Construction Permits expire August 31.
The University of Sioux Falls is selling 94.5 KCFS Sioux Falls, SD to Badlands Airtime for $1.5 million. The buyer has applied to convert the station to Commercial status and will file a future application to upgrade the station as a contingency to the purchase. Badlands Airtime has a pending deal to acquire 1520 KZOY/92.1 K221FO Sioux Falls. The group intends to launch the “Guns, Gold & Rock ‘N Roll Radio Network” based at Badlands Pawn on Thanksgiving Day.
Mike Knar’s Western Radio LTD buys 1580 KFCS Colorado Springs from Pilgrim Communications for $250,000. Knar already operates the station via Time Brokerage Agreement.
Spice Radio is acquiring RAK Communications’ Brokered 1210 KQEQ Fowler/Fresno, CA for $750,000. Spice will begin operating the station with its South Asian programming on Monday, June 1.
Punjabi American Media buys Spanish Christian 1450 KOBO Yuba City, CA from Tom Huth for $390,000.
In a pair of deals, Alpine Radio is acquiring 1240 KVLF and 92.7 KALP Alpine, TX. The buyer is paying Big Bend Broadcasters $275,000 for KVLF and $200,000 to Rio Grande Broadcasting for KALP.

Randy Allen’s Second Line Media purchases Oldies 1570 WABL Amite, LA from Spotlight Broadcasting of New Orleans for $275,000. Second Line also adds WABL’s existing translator 97.3 K247BJ Amite from Edgewater Broadcasting for $18,800. Second Line Began operating both via LMA on May 20.

Crocodile Broadcasting Corporation buys 104.9 K285FF Metaire/New Orleans from Catholic Community Radio for $220,000. K285FF will be utilized to rebroadcast Spanish Tropical “Tropical 1540” KGLA Gretna/New Orleans.
Edgewater Broadcasting sells the CP for 99.9 W260CF Manchester, NH to Saga Communications for $45,000. Saga will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of 95.7 WZID Manchester on W260CF.
Hope Christian Church of Marlton sells 92.1 W221BV New Holland, PA to Hall Communications for $120,000 to simulcast Hall’s Standards 1490 WLPA Lancaster.
Midwest Family Broadcasting’s Long Nine, Inc. purchases 94.7 W234CC Sherman, IL from Community Broadcasting for $37,000. W234CC will rebroadcast News/Talk 970 WMAY Springfield.
