Sunnylands Broadcasting has launched Classic Hits “Valley 105.1” KVGH North Shore/Palm Springs, CA.
After testing/stunting with Christmas music, the new format is focusing on pop hits of the 1960s and 70s. KVGH is being programmed by Broadcast Partners’ Ken Moultrie. The new format will go up against R&R Broadcasting Oldies 98.5 KDES and Alpha Media’s Classic Hits “106.9 The Eagle” KDGL.
KVGH is the former 105.3 KQCM Twentynine Palms. It is not done with its planned moves. KVGH applied last week for a city-of-license change to Bermuda Dunes and a move to the tower utilized by CBS’ “Sunny 103.1” KEZN Palm Desert. KVGH would operate with 1.5kW at 198 meters (Coverage Map).
