Entercom Rhythmic AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP Seattle has filled its morning vacancy with the addition of Deanna Cruz from Cumulus Rhythmic CHR “Hot 106.3” WWKX Providence.
Cruz, who currently hosts the “Rise & Grind” morning show at WWKX with Vezzy Parmesan, will debut on KHTP in early August. She replaces Candy & Potter who were dismissed from the station in March.
Entercom’s New HOT 103.7 (KHTP) proudly announces Deanna Cruz as the new morning show host. Cruz will join the station for wake-ups in the beginning of August.
Cruz comes to HOT 103.7 from Hot 106 (WWKX) in Providence, Rhode Island, where she’s been a key personality for over eight years, including the last four as morning host. After growing up in Hartford and graduating from Boston University, Cruz began her radio career in Albany, New York. In addition to her radio show, Deanna has also been a regular entertainment and pop culture contributor at WPRI-TV in Providence, Rhode Island.
“Deanna’s got a sassy personality, loves rhythmic music, and is a pop culture expert. And she fits HOT 103.7 perfectly,” said Mike Preston, HOT 103.7 Program Director. “I can’t wait for our listeners to connect with her on the air and on social media, which is another of her passions!”
Deanna said, “I’m super excited to join HOT 103.7 and thank Mike Preston and Dave Richards (VP of Programming/Operations Manager) for this opportunity. HOT’s music is the music I love! Working in a top market like Seattle has been a dream of mine, and I plan on muscling up to the competition.”
