Now the group seeks to modify its existing New York City area translator as 103.1 W276AQ Fort Lee NJ applies for a displacement move to 102.3 with 60 watts at 139 meters from its current antenna rebroadcasting Cumulus' 94.7 WNSH-HD4 Newark (Coverage Map). Bridgelight states that W276AQ has received interference from Connoisseur Media Classic Hits "103.1 Max-FM" WBZO Bay Shore NY since that station modified its coverage earlier this year. It will be interesting to see how the FCC handles this. Normally displacement applications are granted for the reverse effect when the translator as a secondary service creates interference to the full-powered station. Also conflicting matters is that W276AQ is using the displacement to seek a power increase from the station's currently licensed 35 watts. A July 2014 application to increase to 99 watts has been sitting in limbo following a petition to deny by Dennis Jackson, owner of W276BV Greenwich CT which had first applied to use a Mattoon Waiver to move to New Rochelle NY and rebroadcast 1460 WVOX. iHeartMedia applies to modify the CP for 104.9 W285FA Rockville MD's move to 104.7 in Washington to operate with 99 watts at 226 meters rebroadcasting 101.1 WWDC-HD2 (Coverage Map). After its previous application to relocate 97.5 W248CH Belleville IL into St. Louis proper with a COL change to Shrewsbury MO was dismissed, Covenant Network has filed a petition for reconsideration by amending its application to note that its move is contingent on 97.7 KWAP-LP Florissant's application to relocate to 95.1. W248CH would operate with 250 watts at 326 meters rebroadcasting 1460 KHOJ St. Charles (Coverage Map).
