Flood Communications has rebranded the three stations it acquired in Beatrice NE last year.
Oldies 1310 KGMT Fairbury and 1450 KWBE Beatrice are now featuring a mix of local news and Classic Hits while adopting the “News Channel Nebraska” identity. Flood launch its first station under that name last October on 94.7 KNEN Norfolk NE. Like KNEN, KWBE will be paired with a low-powered TV station as flood owns KWBE-LD Channel 21.
Meanwhile sister Country 99.5 KUTT Fairbury is now branding itself as “Ol’ Red 99.5“. No other changes to the format were made.
Flood Communications bought KGMT, KUTT and KWBE from Siebert Broadcasting for $7 million last July.
