New World Radio’s 1200 WAGE Leesburg, VA is close to completing its 50kw upgrade and move to Washington, DC.
With the new signal the station will have full daytime coverage of the entire Washington (and portions of Baltimore) market. The move required the move of the station to 1190 and the shutdown of 1190 WBIS Annapolis, MD.
The station has changed its calls to WCRW and has registered 1190WCRW.com for the station. New World operates brokered 1120 WUST Washington and 1540 WNWR Philadelphia and we expect more of the same from WCRW.
New World Radio will be Playing CRI all day at the new station, and I hear that the Philadelphia Station owned by the same owners will be flipping the Philadelphia station WNWR to CRI all day.
