Update 7/23: WDMT will flip to Sports as “102 The Sports Hub” on Monday, August 5.
The new format will rely mainly on programming from NBC Sports Radio as well as a yet to be announced local afternoon show. In announcing the change, Entercom Wilkes-Barre GM Ryan Flynn told the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, “We haven’t been able to capitalize on The Mountain from a sales perspective. It’s done OK from a ratings standpoint, and we have a dedicated core of listeners, but we haven’t been able to monetize that.”
