Tyler Media has been busy reshaping its Oklahoma City cluster in 2013, but still may have one more move left in it.
925JakeFM.com was registered on Friday and is already redirecting to the website of Country “93.3 Jake-FM” KJKE Newcastle. The 92.5 frequency is currently home to Classic Hits KOMA. A move or frequency swap with KOMA to move Jake to 92.5 would give the Country format increased coverage north of Oklahoma City in areas near Guthrie, Perry and Stillwater. 92.5 is a Class C operating with 94kW at 472 meters, while 93.3 is a Class C1 running 100kW at 243 meters from a tower site south of Oklahoma City near Norman.
So far in 2013, Tyler Media has made the following changes to its Oklahoma City properties:
- Flipped Radio Disney 1560 KEBC to Comedy
- Moved Classic Rock 107.7 KRXO to 104.5 K283BW
- Launched Sports “107.7 The Franchise“
- Launched CHR “Now 96.5” K243BJ
