Over the past year, The Zone has experienced tremendous growth, and now The Zone is expanding! On Monday, Aug. 4, The Zone will have a new home on 970 AM. Later in August, we will also be heard on 97.5 FM. This move allows us to reach a wider audience, PLUS improve our online stream, and add a smartphone App.
All our sports programing will remain the same, except for a few additions in local content (stay tuned, more big announcements to come!!!)
In conjunction, Lee Family Broadcasting will launch an awesome new rock station on 103.1, led by the infamous Dr. Nick Redbone.
This is exciting news for all radio listeners in southern Idaho!
Original Report 7/23: Lee Family Broadcasting is prepping a pair of format changes in Twin Falls, ID.
Sports “103.1 The Zone” KZNO Jerome will slide to AM to make way for “103.1 The Edge” as Lee has registered 1031TheEdge.com and .net and applied for the KEDJ call letters for the station.
A Rock or Alternative format with the Edge branding would position the station against Locally Owned Radio’s “I-Rock 102.1” KIRQ and/or Rich Broadcasting AAA 94.5 KSKI.
