WTOP Reclaims #1 Biller Status For 2015

A year after being knocked off their perch by iHeartMedia CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles, Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP Washington DC has reclaimed the spot as the nation’s top billing radio station in BIA/Kelsey’s annual report. WTOP and its suburban simulcasters had its revenue rise from $63.5 million in 2014 to $65 million in 2015 to regain the lead, while continuing to be the only station outside of the top three markets to appear in the top 10 list. WTOP has now been the top billing station for five out of the past six years. Sisanie Moves To On-Air With Ryan Seacrest

iHeartMedia’s “On-Air With Ryan Seacrest” has a new co-host. Following the move of Ellen K to mornings at AC 103.5 KOST Los Angeles in October, 102.7 KIIS-FM middayer Sisanie will move into the co-host role at the syndicated morning show. The announcement was made on-stage at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball Concert. While no official announcement has been made, former “99.7 Now” KMVQ San Francisco middayer Letty B is now listed in the midday slot on KIIS-FM’s website. After over twenty five years in mornings at iHeartMedia CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles, Ellen K is moving down the hall to AC 103.5 KOST. On October 19, KOST will debut the “The Ellen K Morning Show” as Mark Wallengren moves to afternoons after 30 years in mornings at the station. SiriusXM Adjusting Lineup: Z100/KIIS-FM Come To Sirius

SiriusXM will make some adjustments to its channel lineup on Friday, October 18. Most of the changes are related to the XM channels programmed by Clear Channel dating back to the launch of the service in 2001. Nine of the eleven Clear Channel produced channels will depart the service: WLTW New York (Ch. 13), WSIX Nashville (Ch. 57), WGCI Chicago (Ch. 241), Sixx Sense (Ch. 242), Extreme Talk (Ch. 243), America’s Talk (Ch. 244), Reach MD (Ch. 245), Talk Radio (Ch. 246), and Fox Sports Radio (Ch. 247).
