Flinn has flipped Alternative “96X” WIVG Tunica, MS/Memphis to Classic Hip-Hop “Boomin 96“. The flip took place at 11pm on Sunday following an hour long loop of Run DMC’s “Christmas In Hollis”. The new format gives Flinn a gold-based flanker for Rhythmic “Hot 107.1” KXHT Marion, AR. The sale comes after K291CE applies to increase to 250 watts at 463 meters to expand its coverage of Houston and its southwestern suburbs. It will rebroadcast Cox Media’s 107.5 KGLK-HD3 Lake Jackson. The Estate of John W. Pike has sold 95.9 W240AJ Endicott, NY to Montrose Broadcasting Corporation for $10,000. Concurrently, a modification application has been filed to relocate the translator to Memphis where it will rebroadcast Flinn’s “Sunny 1210” WMPS Bartlett with 55 watts at 42 meters (Coverage Map). W276BH has held a Construction Permit since September 2012 to relocate to Memphis with 250 watts at 313.8 meters that will be superseded by this application. Digity Media is acquiring 103.3 K277CA Lincoln, NE from Calvary Chapel of Omaha for $250,000. Hope Christian Church has been granted a CP for 106.1 W291BA Baltimore to the Television Hill towers where it will operate with 250 watts directionally. The signal will cover all of Baltimore proper and most of the northern and western suburbs of the city while protecting 106.1 WISX Philadelphia and 105.9 WMAL-FM Woodbridge, VA. Programming will come from CBS’ 105.7 WJZ-HD3. EMF’s 91.9 W220DM Parma, OH has been granted a move to 92.7 in downtown Cleveland with 250 watts pointing to the southeast. Martz Communications’ Radio Power Inc. is preparing to relaunch its “104.7 The Oasis” Detroit on 92.7 following being forced off the air in October. All references on the station’s website have been changed to 92.7. The translator to be used is the former 97.5 W248AQ Harrison, MI which is awaiting approval to move to 92.7 in Detroit with 250 watts. Martz has almost gotten one of its translators into Memphis. 103.1 W276BH Byhalia, MS. Its has now applied to make the final move where it will operate with 250 watts from a site east of the city. The translator is currently licensed to rebroadcast 90.1 WKNO, but that will shift to a commercial outlet when ready to launch.
