JVC Media Country “103.1 The Wolf” WOTW Windermere/Orlando has dropped Bubba The Love Sponge from mornings after just two months. Bubba debuted on WOTW a month after the station’s launch in December allowing him to first focus on his new Tampa flagship. JVC had added the show based on the success pairing it with Country at their “My Country 102.3” WTRS-FM Ocala. In a memo published by Tom Taylor Now, JVC Media President/CEO John Caracciolo stated, “When we initially launched, we were of the mindset that winning in the morning and going against the #1 morning show would help us grow quickly…we soon figured out that what works in other markets does not necessarily [guarantee] a win in Orlando.” WOTW is currently running jockless in mornings and promo...Read More

Since way too many people have been contacting us thinking we’re involved with the station, please make it known that we are not. The current Elvis programming is temporary and will soon be replaced by the new permane...Read More
