Next, from 3 weeks ago, for the 5th time in a row, the top 5 songs from this week in 1972. Here are the rundowns:

    5. Nights in White Satin (Single Version) (Moody Blues)
    4. Everybody Plays the Fool (Main Ingredient)
    3. Burning Love (Elvis Presley)
    2. Use Me (Bill Withers)
    1. My Ding-A-Ling (Chuck Berry)

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B27YmMY7YwODb2lFZzIwZ1FrZVk

In addition to all of that, I prefer the album version a lot better than the single version according to what was #5. Take a listen.

And also, there’s also the long version of a song which was #1 that I would check it out. This song was banned from most of the Top 40 stations including WABC for playing a song that is inappropriate and too risque for airplay, and it was his only #1 hit. Check it out!

Here comes November, and for the 4th time in a row, I will present to you, the top 5 songs from 40 years ago this past weekend in 1977. Here are the rundowns.

    5. Brick House (Commodores)
    4. That’s Rock & Roll (Shaun Cassidy)
    3. Boogie Nights (Heatwave)
    2. Nobody Does It Better (from the James Bond movie “The Spy Who Loved Me”) (Carly Simon)
    1. You Light Up My Life (Debbie Boone)

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=10N2CUaZjDQ_NQnbqkGSNVTvWscbJzQmh

As you probably know, they skipped the #4 song, because “Magic” is not going to play “That’s Rock & Roll” by Shaun Cassidy. That’s stupid!!!! That happened since January when they didn’t play “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions” by Queen since it’s too much rock.

Since “Magic” doesn’t play the #4 song, I gonna give you this one, because it’s a song that “Magic 590/100.5” should’ve played the #4 song. Here it is!

    5. Trying to Live My Life Without You (Bob Segar)
    4. For Your Eyes Only (from the James Bond movie) (Sheena Easton)
    3. Arthur’s Theme (Christopher Cross)

Next, is the Top 5 songs from this week in 1974, and Bill Lawrence was in for Bob Johnson, but I can’t stand him that much anymore. Bill Lawrence is still not my favorite jock, and he still sounds terrible. At any rate, here are the rundowns:

    5. Back Home Again (John Denver)
    4. Tin Man (America)
    3. My Melody Of Love (Bobby Vinton)
    2. Do It (‘Til You’re Satisfied) (Single Version) (BT Express)
    1. Whatever Gets You Through The Night (John Lennon)

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1567XKs01LM-B6aRyEW-G7IcGnOATU9_P

And speaking of #2, here is the album version which runs about 6 minutes, but I prefer the album version a lot better than the single version.

As we winding down November, Bob Johnson gives you the Top 5 songs from last week in 1978, ONCE AGAIN!!! Too much 70’s on the “Top 5 Drive At 5”, no more 60’s, just 70’s, and sometimes 80’s. It looks like “Magic” is taking a music direction towards 70’s music. If you want to argue the 60’s, go right ahead. We’ll give you the rundowns. Take a look:

    5. You Needed Me (Anne Murray)
    4. You Don’t Bring Me Flowers (Neil Diamond & Barbra Streisand)
    3. How Much I Feel (Ambrosia)
    2. Double Vision (Foreigner)
    1. MacArthur Park (Donna Summer)

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=10zkziLXjgkEvTpMSoJSQR4GfJx_jVcMS

In addition, check out the full length album album of a #1 song with “Heaven Knows” as played here. This version runs about nearly close to 18 minutes.
