FTVLive shows what’s been happening to Channel 3’s morning newscast since the new ND took over.

If that’s what WKYC considers to be the News of the Future, than my future won’t include watching WKYC “news”. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a talented newsguy like Russ Mitchell say “I’m outta here!”

Chud was on the 6pm news last night. Chris Tye said “we miss you”. Chud said he missed them as well.

Don’t read too much into it.

WKYC was short in the sports dept last night.

Jim Donovan was calling the Browns game in Cincinnati, regular weekend guy Al Pawlowski was doing his longtime winter gig of calling CSU Vikings hoops on the radio (WHK 1420) at the Wolstein Center, and #3 guy Pat Chiesa was in Cincy helping Donovan cover the Browns game for channel 3.

Pawlowski came back to do the 11p (well, actually 11:30-ish after Sunday Night Football) newscast and the Sports Tonight show afterwords.
