Next to the Prudential Tower, a new building called One Dalton Street is currently under construction.  The new building is going to be 742 feet tall once completed.  Could it adversely affect FM radio performance of those on the Pru and introduce new multi-path by the presence of the new building around the city?  How about some of the other new buildings in the city?  Will the FMs consider using one master antenna instead of the two that are there today and raising its height to limit the presence of any issues caused by these new buildings?   Would the FMs consider re-locating to Needham for those that can move out of the city?

One Dalton will probably cause some blockage of Pru signals in areas southwest of it – around Northeastern U., and might scatter some reflected signals back toward Copley Sq.  The FAA has a height restriction of around 800 feet near Logan Airport, so there isn’t much chance of adding much tower height.
