AT&T responded on similar grounds but they call it fighting hate speech
AT&T has pulled all its non-search ad spending from Google, after worries that Google may have placed its ads next to terrorism or hate content.
“We are deeply concerned that our ads may have appeared alongside YouTube content promoting terrorism and hate,” AT&T said in a statement provided to CNBC. “Until Google can ensure this won’t happen again, we are removing our ads from Google’s non-search platforms.”
The suspension affects YouTube and Google’s display network, according to The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news.
AT&T joins other companies that have stepped back from Google, after an investigation from The Times of London found that ads for Mercedes-Benz and Marie Curie were running next to jihadist and neo-Nazi content.
Google apologized and revamped its ad policy on Tuesday, especially on YouTube. Google said it will start “removing ads more effectively from content that is attacking or harassing people,” and will change the default safety setting for ads.March 23, 2017 at 12:10 pm #173403
Just label them as “fake news” or “hate speech”, and that’s all you gotta do to shut down someone who disagrees with you (and who you can’t logically debate). Or you can just say they’re tied to the Russians, keep repeating it, and hope people believe it.March 27, 2017 at 10:35 am #173487

Well this is one of the reasons why Advertisers are threatening to pull out of facebook and youtube and its because of the rants involving InfoWars staff and Pizzagate also the verdicts of Edgar Welch and his role on weapons charges after the attempted mass shooting at a D.C. Pizza joint.
Now Alex Jones is in another scandal besides Pizzagate and its allegations to his contacts in Russia.March 27, 2017 at 2:32 pm #173498

I think it’s all just a blame game at this point… anything to focus the attention off of what’s really going on. Just make up some wild conspiracy about Russia. Grab the popcorn and enjoy watching the nightly news and Rachel Maddow… they’ve all gone crazy. As the woman who lost has famously said “What difference, at this point, does it make?”.March 29, 2017 at 10:48 am #173541April 1, 2017 at 10:26 pm #173625
