Keillor has been removed from the MPR show The Writer’s Almanac .
Off-hand, it looks like his first (and perhaps still only) direct comments have been to the AP, the Star Tribune, and MPR News. For its part, APM/MPR (i.e., the corporate/management side) may have not made any comments beyond its official statements.
Doesn’t Garrison Keillor also write a newspaper column that’s in a number of papers, mostly in the Midwest?? I thought I heard WBZ-1030 in Boston report that earlier this afternoon (November 29th).
If that’s the case, the future of that column would probably also be in doubt.
Representative John Conyers, Garrison Keillor and, even going back a bit, comedian Bill Cosby might have a sense of relief that these accusations are only coming out now, long after they’ve reached retirement age, and long after their biggest days are behind them.

“A Prairie Home Companion” has been given a new name — “Live from Here” — in the wake of creator Garrison Keillor’s acrimonious split with Minnesota Public Radio.
Chris Thile, the mandolin virtuoso who has hosted the weekly variety show since Keillor’s retirement last year, announced the new name Saturday evening as the show opened a live performance in New York City.
MPR terminated its contracts with Keillor after it said it had received multiple allegations of improper conduct by Keillor. MPR has declined to give any details except to say the allegations involved treatment of one woman who had worked with Keillor when he was still with the show.
