No more "1030"

    Has anyone noticed the only time you hear “1030”on ‘BZ is probobly accidental.
    It seems now it’s WBZ Boston’s Newsradio.

    Just like WTOP in Washington. They call themselves “WTOP Radio,” more or less due to the multiple simulcasts of WTOP/103.5 that cover the general DC metro and beyond.

    Note, too, that their website is wbznewsradio.iheart.com, so it’s a uniform branding move. (IIRC, it was born out of necessity by the terms of CBS leasing back usage of the WBZ “brand” back to iHeart… the word “radio” had to be included in the web domain.)

    Recorded in Ultra Stereo, the ultimately superior cousin to Normal Stereo!
