WGAN has really got the branding going for 105.5.Seems like it’s more likely for something different on 98.5.Saga has been quick in other markets getting their translators going. This one’s been sitting for a long time.
WEZR already simulcast on WEZR-FM a class C-3 in Norway, also on a translator at 105.5 in the Lewiston-Auburn area. The FCC data base has 95.3 in Lewiston, but either way WEZR doesn’t need another signal in Lewiston or Norway.
I’m pretty sure that the 98.5 translator in Portland is part of the “AM revitalization” so it is locked down to WGAN, or another AM station. It can’t have it’s primary as the HD subchannel as 105.5 can.
Apparently 1240/105.5 and 780 WTME are now know as 105.5 Sports, so they’re no longer simulcasting with 92.7. 95.3 may be licensed to Lewiston, but that’s not where the licensed transmitter site is.
