Sad news for WKTJ 99.3

    Being sold to Katadin Communications which seems to regularly have financial problems owns an am and fm in Millinocket a chronicly depressed area.The plan is to have “4” total employees between the 3 stations.Anyone who listens to ‘KTJ can probobly guess what’s going to happen.The end of ‘KTJ as we know it.


    There wasn’t much there to begin with. Outgoing owner is the morning guy, they have an afternoon guy and maybe a sales person or 2.


    It’ll be interesting to see what happens to the Red Sox, local sports and local programming since none of that basically exists on Katadin’s Millinocket stations.


    Hell, last I knew they were only running the AM on the weekend as a simulcast of the FM…..
