On Friday Scotty Perry announced that Friday’s  show would be his last on WBWZ, New Paltz – Poughkeepsie ,Z93 . He is leaving on good terms to do something outside radio. He said he did not know what the station would be doing to fill his spot 6-10 in the morning drive. I missed checking what was on in his place this morning.

He was given a big sendoff by his co-workers. They reminisce about their time together at Z93 and also where they met at “the station across the street” . ( cross town rival WPDH.)

So that mean that this is going to bring back “Shut Up & Rock” mornings to the station since it hasn’t been playing automated rock music in mornings for about a year. He used to be in afternoon drive until he moved to mornings and then finally let go. What a disaster. Maybe this station needs to bring back an automated morning show called “Shut Up & Rock” for now.
