The CP that the folks at WGMP sought has finally come through.  If built, it’ll reduce them from 10 kW days 4 towers to 850 watts, one tower.  Nighttime power will actually go up from four to seven watts.  The Gump has been running on an STA for the 4 watts night authorization full time due to lightning damage to the transmitter.  From what I’ve been told, it’s either rarely or never actually been on.  They’re just coasting on the translator.

Daytime coverage isn’t going to change much, and nighttime coverage is non existent.
