Wow! this is getting crazy here between a religious network and the president.

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION Contemporary Christian WKVP (K-LOVE 96.7)/PHILADEPHIA, was forced to issue an apology on social media today after its digital display was hacked with an anti-TRUMP message that included an obscenity.
Listeners posted on TWITTER about seeing the “F— TRUMP” message shortly after 8a (ET) this morning. The station responded: “We’re sorry to say our N.Y. signal was hacked… Our team is working to fix this as soon as possible!”

The station lists its mission is to “inspire and encourage a meaningful relationship with CHRIST.”
There have been reports of similar instances on radio stations in SOUTH CAROLINA, SEATTLE, LOUISVILLE and SAN ANGELO, TX.

What a howler of a post!

First: K-Love is a national network, not just one local station.

Second: K-Love has a Christian Pop format, no preaching at all.

Third: K-Love is heard in Philadelphia at 106.9 — the transmitter cited by the OP targets New York City.

That story from All Access was a mess. Hard to tell if it was 106.9 in Philly or 96.7 in New York that they were talking about. There was also an article from Newsday (re-tweeted by radioinsight) saying that it was 96.7 there.

Could it have possibly been both stations? Just 96.7 WKLV? Who knows…

    Jeff Lehman wonders:

Could it (the hack) have possibly been both stations (New York and Philadelphia)? Just 96.7 WKLV? Who knows…

Maybe it affected the entire K-Love network, so it might have been on all 400 stations and translators carrying the network’s programming!
