    Yep, I listened to the change on TuneIn.  I think Island 99.7 may have ended and probably simulcasting The Boss.  Both stations call letters were mentioned at the top of the hour.  Sounds good so far.

    Yep, I listened to the change on TuneIn. I think Island 99.7 may have ended and probably simulcasting The Boss. Both stations call letters were mentioned at the top of the hour. Sounds good so far.
    Yep, just checked WBHX’s live stream, and the 107.1/99.7 simulcast is back. Again, wondering why they’re not including any 99.7 references except the TOH…

    It would be smart for them to mention 99.7 instead of just 107.1 since they are now competing against 105.7 The Hawk in Ocean County.

    They keep changing the brand of this station and never address the real problem with it.  10 minutes of music and 6 minutes of commercials.  The station is a few miles from my house and I can’t listen to it.

    I’m guessing that the 99.7 simulcast will be short lived. I can’t imagine starting a new station, having a simulcast and branding the duo as only one of the stations.  It’s too common these days to use 2 frequencies in the branding.  So, my only guess is that the simulcast is temporary until 99.7 gets a new format.  “Stunting” if you will.
