CBS Country 92.5 WXTU Philadelphia is making a change in mornings.
Ken ‘Doc’ Medek is leaving the station on Thursday, March 31 to take a yet-to-be announced position closer to his home in Scranton PA. Taking his place as co-host with Andie Summers will be WXTU weekender Frank Lario. Lario has spent much of his career in Philadelphia working at Rockers 93.3 WMMR and 94.1 WYSP and also was co-founder of Alternative 93.1 WDOX Wildwood Crest NJ.
Medek joined WXTU in 2010 from Entercom Country “Froggy 101” WGGY Scranton where he served as PD and morning host, but his wife remained in that area for work. He has also programmed CHR 98.5 WKRZ Scranton and 106.1 WBLI Long Island NY.
